Healing AG1 and Blueberry Smoothie for Seasonal Cleanse or Liquid Diet

During the lockdown years I gained a ton of weight. One of the things I did to drop all the sit-in-my-house-and-do-nothing-but-eat-comfort-food-for-two-years pounds was Dr. Kellyann’s 5-day Cleanse. It honestly works like a hot damn. I’ve never seen such a health transformation so quickly.

That said, I’m never great at sticking to the exact rules of any particular cleanse or fast. So this is the smoothie recipe that I came up with for this time round.

Instead of doing a 5-day cleanse right away, I’m easing into it with 10-days of smoothies, bone broth, and big protein and veggie dinners (with no sugar or refined foods). And then if my body still feels sluggish, I’ll do the 5-day cleanse too.

Anyway, this smoothie is friggin’ delicious, super filling, and full of nutrients, protein, and good fat.

If you feel like you need lower sugar levels in your smoothie, then don’t use mango.

Ingredients:

2 handfuls blueberries (fresh or frozen)

1 handful frozen mango bits

1 scoop AG1

If you don’t want to splurge on AG1 then use 2 handfuls of greens like spinach, arugula or dandelion and add extra stevia drops. But AG1 is fantastic, so I recommend using it if your budget allows. I’ve found that it really does make a difference to energy levels and gut health, including keeping you regular!

1-2 scoops almond butter

2 scoops collagen

1-2 drops stevia

250-300 ml water

1-2 ice cubes

How To:

Stick it all in a blender. Blend it.
